The M-Club is an
organization of persons who have earned a varsity letter as
a member of a Morningside College athletic team.
M-Club strives to:
1. Induct student athletes
2. Help senior athletes become alumni members
3. Keep members informed on Morningside athletics
4. Recognize accomplishments of M-Club members
The M-Club holds
an annual Brunch during Homecoming week to honor its Hall
of Fame inductees and Coach of the Year recipient and to recognize
student athletes who have received athletic scholarships.
The 2008 Hall of Fame inductees are Melissa (McWilliams) Hansen, the late Karl Kletschke, A.G. Kruger, and Lerlean Johnson. John Vanderloo , head boy's basketball coach at Sioux City North High School, is the M-Club's 2008 Coach of the Year.
M-Club members are
encouraged to visit the M-Club Room located in the upper level
of Allee Gymnasium during halftime of all home men's and women's
basketball games for refreshments and camaraderie.
